Almost every country with a major scuba diving tourist attraction will have some type of scuba diving resort in the area. Divers from around the world gather at scuba diving resorts to dive together and spend time together; within hours, you will have met dozens of friends who are passionate about the sport as well.

Scuba diving resorts are for people of all levels, even beginners. However, in order to get the most out of your trip to a scuba diving resort, you will want to be trained beforehand; otherwise, you simply spend most of your time becoming certified when what you really want is to be out in the ocean diving with the other divers.
